I'm a third-year PhD student in the Cognitive and Information Sciences Department at UC Merced. My research explores how we make sense of abstract concepts like space and time.
Broadly, I’m interested in how culture, language, and embodiment shape thought. Outside the lab, you’ll find me behind a camera, watching old samurai films, or making an unreasonable amount of pasta.
Research
I investigate how people represent and reason about abstract domains—especially space and time. My work draws on gesture, language, and interaction to understand the architecture of thought. Reach out if you’re interested in collaborating!
